## Questions before we start

### How much does a website or an app cost?

We don't have a price list or fixed ranges, because two projects rarely need the same work. We quote each one separately, based on what the site or app has to do and which systems it connects to, such as payments or accounting software. After the first conversation you get a quote broken into stages, with an amount for each, before you sign anything. If you give a budget in the form, we'll propose a scope that fits it.

If the project needs more work than the budget covers, the quote may exceed it. We'll then show what fits the budget and what costs more, and you decide.

### How long will it take?

It depends on the scope, so you get the schedule together with the quote, broken down into weeks and stages. For each stage you see what will be ready and when you can check it. If a date matters, such as a campaign launch or a trade fair, we agree what has to work by that day and what can follow in later stages.

### Can I change things along the way?

Yes. New ideas often come once you see the first working version, and that's normal. We quote every change first and show how it moves the schedule. We make it only after you approve it, so the project's cost never grows without you knowing.

### What happens after launch?

For 3 months after launch we fix reported bugs at no extra cost. A bug is something that works differently from what we agreed in the scope; new features are quoted separately. After that, our maintenance can look after the app for a fixed monthly fee: updates, backups, monitoring and small changes. You can also take it over yourself or hand it to someone else.

### Will I own the code?

Yes. When the project ends you get the full code and access to every service the app runs on, such as the server, the domain or payments. We hand over access so that nothing depends on us. You can keep developing the app with us or with any other team.

### Who will I talk to?

From the first conversation to maintenance, you have one dedicated contact. The whole team knows the project inside out, though, so whoever replies knows what's going on. Day to day we write by email, and we set up a call when something needs deciding together.
