## Who it's for

For applications that have to work at night too. Code and servers are in the same hands, so when something breaks nobody sends you to another company.

## What we do

### Hostero servers

Your application runs on our servers, which more than 5,000 Hostero customers also use. If you'd rather use another server or a cloud, we'll set it up there.

### Backups

Backups run automatically. We test restoring from them in advance, not on the day something fails.

### Monitoring

We watch the application and servers, so we usually know about a problem before you do.

### Deployments

A new version reaches the server in one step, and if something goes wrong we roll back to the previous one.

Hostero

Hostero runs on the same infrastructure. Servers set themselves up, backups run every night, and monitoring warns us before players notice a slowdown.

## Questions about this service

### Where will my app run?

On our servers or on one you choose, for example with your current provider. Either way we configure and look after it ourselves, so one company is responsible for both the app and the server. You don't have to explain a problem to two companies that keep sending you to each other.

### What if something stops working?

Monitoring watches the apps and servers around the clock, so we usually know about a problem before you do. Backups run automatically, and we test restoring from them regularly, before it's needed. When something stops working, we tell you what happened and when it will be back.

### Will you move an app you didn't build?

Yes. First we check how the app works today and what it needs to run. We run it on our side as a trial, and agree the moment of switching over with you, ideally at the quietest time. Until then the current version keeps running as it is.

### Can I move the app somewhere else later?

Yes. The code and access are yours, so the app can run on any server. If you decide to move, we hand over everything the new team needs to take it over without downtime.
